Live Oak Plantation’s 2-year-old filly Let It Ride Mom sprinted to a sharp maiden special weight victory Saturday afternoon at Woodbine in her career bow, coming home a handy one-length winner after opening a clear lead in mid-stretch and being geared down late.
The bay filly was purchased by Live Oak following her Under Tack breeze in :9 4/5 seconds at the OBS March 2-year-old Sale. The Kentucky-bred is out of the Dogwood S. (G3) winner Golden Marlin and is from the same family as Remsen S. (G2) winner Silver of Silver.
