Forever Loyal blazed to a 7 1/4-length victory to break her maiden Thursday at Tampa Bay Downs in the first dirt start for the Live Oak Plantation colorbearer (VIDEO).
The 3-year-old daughter of Malibu Moon left little doubt as to who was best in the field of special weight fillies, assuming command at the half-way point then pulling away with authority. The Christophe Clement trainee stopped the clock in 1:42.30 for the mile and 40 yards.
Forever Loyal is out of the stakes-placed and top producer Kings Lynn, whose seven winners include Sara Louise, a three-time graded stakes winner of over $400,000 and Grade 3 Debutante S. winner Just Louise.
Forever Loyal was purchased by Live Oak out of the 2012 Keeneland September Yearling sale.
