Bring Theband Home, a two-time stakes winner at Saratoga over the summer, will make his next start in Saturday’s Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint (G1) at Del Mar.
The Live Oak Plantation homebred Bring Theband Home won both the Troy S. (G2) and Harvey Pack S. in front-running style at Saratoga, the first two stakes wins of his career.
Trained by Mark Casse, the 5-year-old son of Into Mischief has earned $508,556 and is the first foal out of Tizatude, who is a half-sister to Haskell Inv. (G1) winner Paynter. This is also the immediate family of two-time Breeders’ Cup Classic winner Tiznow.
To be run as race 5 at 3:41 pm ET, the five-furlong dash drew a field of 12, with Bring TheBand Home in post 5. He will be ridden by Javier Castellano.
