With that philosophy in mind, we have built and raised a broodmare band through the years that is second to none, and one that is rich in some of the most regal Thoroughbred bloodlines in the world.

Because of that band of quality producers, our breeding program is consistently ranked among the tops in the world and has produced numerous graded stakes winners including 20 Grade 1 winners over our 50+ years in the industry.

Florida offers the ideal climate and limestone-based soils for raising quality horses, and Live Oak Stud now exclusively boards all of its mares at the Ocala farm year round and is a strong supporter of the Florida-bred program.
