World Approval, a two-time Grade 1 winner this year, tops Live Oak Plantation's runners in this year's Nov. 3-4 Breeders' Cup at Del Mar.

World Approval drew post five in the $2 million Breeders' Cup Mile (G1), which has a post time of 6:19 p.m. ET on Saturday

The Mile has a field of 13, including seven horses from overseas. Despite the deep field, World Approval is the second-leading earner in the group, behind only Ribchester (IRE).

World Approval, out of Win Approval is a half-brother to 2006 Breeders' Cup Mile winner Miesque's Approval. A win by World Approval would mark only the second time in Breeders' Cup history that one mare has produced two Breeders' Cup winners.

The speedy Holding Gold also runs on Saturday, in the $1 million Turf Sprint (G1), which has a post time of 3:37 p.m. ET. With a full field of 14, Holding Gold drew post 2. The 4-year-old homebred won the Shakertown S. (G2) this spring at Keeneland, and has an overall record of 4-3-1 in 14 starts. Holding Gold is a son of In the Gold, winner of the Gazelle (G1) and Beaumont S. (G2).

Looking at Friday's card, Awesome Slew is part of a 10-horse field in the $1 million Dirt Mile (G1), which runs at 6:05 p.m. ET. Awesome Slew will break from post 5 for trainer Mark Casse.

Awesome Slew, also a homebred, tuned up for Friday's contest with a one length victory in the Ack Ack S. (G3) Sept. 30 at Churchill Downs. The three-time graded stakes winner is on the cusp of $1 million in earnings.

Awesome Slew is out of the multiple stakes winner Slewfoundmoney, who is also the dam of graded stakes-placed Souper Lucky.
