Live Oak Plantation's homebred 3-year-old filly Our Flash Drive was very impressive in her stakes debut Saturday at Woodbine, scoring a 2 1/4-length victory in the $150,000 Selene S. (G3).

The bay filly, trained by Mark Casse, was stepping up into graded company off a sharp seven-furlong maiden score on June 21, also at Woodbine.

Away in good order in the 1 1/16-mile affair restricted to 3-year-olds, Our Flash Drive tracked in second behind California Lily for six furlongs before wresting the lead with a two-wide move on the turn. She opened up in the stretch and easily held off Munnyfor Ro to get the distance in 1:44.69 on the synthetic surface.

“At the break, she relaxed right off the bat,” said winning rider Patrick Husbands. “I couldn't give the race to (California Lily), when she started to back up, I had to get (my filly) going again, then drew off.”

The winner is trained by Mark Casse, who also teamed up with Live Oak to win Saturday's Victory Ride S. (G3) at Belmont with Souper Sensational. Our Flash Drive is now 2-0-0 in four outings and has earned $110,744.
