Live Oak Plantation's homebred 3-year-old filly now has graded stakes wins on both the turf and main track at Woodbine after her Aug. 22 victory in the Ontario Colleen S. (G3).

The bay filly, trained by Mark Casse, won the Selene S. (G3) on Woodbine's synthetic surface six weeks prior and is undefeated in three starts this year, with lifetime earnings of $180,937.

Making her first start on the grass, Our Flash Drive got a perfect stalking trip just behind Sweet Souper Sweet, who is also owned by Live Oak. Just past the half-way point, Our Flash Drive ranged up along side the pacesetter, then went by her coming into the stretch. The eventual winner opened up on the field and came home to win by two lengths in 1:34.76 for the mile on the firm turf.

“I breezed her on Sunday (August 15), when I got back to the barn, my head was bigger than Woodbine,” said winning rider Patrick Husbands. “I said ‘Mark, this is a Breeders’ Cup horse.’ She just loved it [the turf].

Our Flash Drive is a daughter of Ghostzapper out of the Dynaformer mare Dynamotor. Through her third dam Slew City Slicker, Our Flash Drive is related to Ruffian H. (G1) winner Pool Land.
