March to the Arch will try to become Live Oak Plantation's third winner of the Breeders' Cup Mile (G1) Saturday at Keeneland.

Live Oak won the $2 million race in 2006 with Miesque's Approval and the 2017 renewal World Approval, both homebreds, as is March to the Arch.

The 5-year-old, out of Daveron (Ger), is a half-brother to multiple graded winner Global Access.

March to the Arch drew post 8 in the full field of 14 for Saturday's ninth race at 3:15 p.m. ET. The bay has been at the top of his game in his two most recent starts, earning triple-digit Beyer Speed Figures while winning the King Edward S. (G2) and finishing second after encountering traffic trouble in the Woodbine Mile (G1).

March to the Arch is trained by Mark Casse and will be ridden by Tyler Gafflione.

Saturday's race can be seen live on NBC-TV.
